In fact, Koh Tao is far away from Koh Pha Ngan around 45 kilometers and Koh Nang Yuan is away from Koh Tao just 15 minutes.

The best journey for bus passengers do get off at Chum Phon province (about 538 kilometers). Then taking a local transportation (Pick-up car is altered to transportation), go ahead to Tha Yang Pier. After that get on boat going to Koh Tao respectively, living on board about 2 and a half hours. In fact, Chum Phon province is far away from Koh Tao approximately 75 kilometers.
- By Rail: Trains depart from Hua Lamphong (Bangkok's Railway Station), Visitors to Thailand can reach there easily by MRTA Subway--Blue Line, to Chum Phon Train's Station (Chum Phon Province) and Surat Thani Train's Station of Surat Thani province daily. (Thonburi-Pak Tho route) via Samut Songkram province then turnning
traffic light to left to Highway #4 or A2
(Phetchakasem Road--the main route through Southern) via Petchburi
province and Hua Hin to Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon provinces. Then
taking National Highway #41 going straight
on through Lang Suan district , Chaiya district reminding yourself had
to pass Surat Thani Airport (Right hand side). Taking another National Highway
#401 which pass Phun Phin district, Surat Thani City and
then go straight on Kanchanadit district is the route to Don Sak
district. Before reaching Don Sak, Turning traffic left to Highway
#4142 taking to Car Ferry.
