Wat Tan Chet Yod is located in Salalai sub district, Sam Roi Yod district. There is a life-like image of Somdet Bhraphuddha Chan (To Bhommarangsri) measuring 11 meters across the lap and 18 meters high, considered to be his largest cast image in the world. Tan Chet Yod, this name come from a toddy palm tree or Tan (in Thai Language) with 7 tops-Chet Yod, which was cut during the construction of the southern railway line. How to get there: From Hua Hin take the road no.4 (Petchakasem Road), pass Pran Buri until reach Sam Roi Yod. Turn left at the standing kilometer-stone 273-274 and go straight on for about 2 kilometers.

There are many interesting attractions inside national park as following:

Bhraya Nakhorn Cave (UNSEEN THAILAND):

This cave is in Khao Tean area, Bang Pu Village, in Sam Roi Yod National Park. It has stalactites and stalagmites. Moreover, this cave is known for its "Kooha Karuhat Pavilion", which is a small royal pavilion. It was built inside the cave by King Rama V. The best time to visit this cave is between 10.30 - 11.30 a.m. when sunlight shines directly on to the pavilion and illuminates the cave. Kooha Karuhat Pavilion has become a symbol of Prachuap Khiri Khan province. For more information, please contact Sam Roi Yod National Park telephone +66(032) 821 568.
How to get there: From Hua Hin take the road no.4 to Pran Buri intersection. Turn left along Pak Nam Pran Buri route for 8 kilometers, then turn right and go straight on the same road to Khao Sam Roi Yod National Park for a further 16 kilometers. And then turn left again at Baan Bang Pu and cross the bridge over the Bang Pu canal to the foot of Khao Tean. You can walk across Khao Tean for a distance of 500 meters to get to Bhraya Nakhon Cave or take a 20 minutes trip by long-tailed boat to Leam Sak and then walk to the cave.

16 kilometers north of Sam Roi Yod National Park's headquarter, you can either reach this beach by taking the boat or following the trail across the hill. This beach is surrounded by mountains on both sides. It is very peaceful beach that is line with casuarinas. You can either rest night stay with their accommodation or tents camping at the national park headquarter.

The Lotus Swamp:

It is located in the freshwater marshland of Sam Roi Yod National Park. There are natural trails on the long wooden bridges that stretching out towards the heart of the swamp. Travelers can take a boat-paddling to observe the field of lotus at close hand. The best time to visit them is during January-April, which is the period of lotus blossoming. Visitors, who are affectionate for bird-watching, can set up and train their binoculars on any vantage point. How to get there: From Hua Hin take the road no.4 (Petchakasem Road). Turn left at the standing kilometer-stone 275.6 and along the same road to Rong Je Lui Em Yee. Turn left again for 15 meters, then turn right and go straight across railroad pass the entance. It is 9 kilometers from the highway to the Lutus Swamp.
